Get a free domain with hosting

The safe, legitimate way to get a $0 domain is to take it with a hosting plan. Check that your name is free, then pick a 12-month or longer plan at checkout.

How the free domain works

Hostinger includes a free first-year domain with eligible hosting plans, usually Premium and above on terms of 12 months or more. The domain is registered in your name and managed from the same account.

From the second year it renews at the regular price. You can turn off auto-renewal or transfer the domain to another provider at any time.

Three steps to a $0 domain

  1. Type your name in the box above to make sure it’s available.
  2. Click Register now and choose a hosting plan of 12 months or more.
  3. At the “Claim free domain” step, paste the name REG copied for you.

Which endings are included

Popular endings such as .com, .net and .org are usually included. The exact list is shown at checkout and can change. .vn and .com.vn are not part of this offer because they are sold by Vietnamese registrars.

Avoid “free domains” that aren’t yours

Some services offer a “free domain” like yourname.freesite.com. That is a subdomain, not your own name: it ranks poorly and you can’t take it with you. A domain included with hosting is a real domain in your name.

Questions people ask

Is the included domain really mine?

Yes. It is registered with your details. You can manage it, point it elsewhere or transfer it.

Will I pay for the domain in year two?

Yes. The offer covers the first year, then it renews at the regular price. See reference renewal prices on the pricing page.

Does the cheapest plan include a free domain?

Usually not. The checkout page shows clearly which plans include it.
